The short version
FairwayAway helps your crew plan golf trips, vote on decisions, keep score, and track who owes what. It is a planning and tracking tool only — it never holds your deposits or moves money between buddies. By using FairwayAway you agree to these terms.
Who we are
FairwayAway is a product of Apps 4 That LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA.
What FairwayAway is — and isn't
The money board is a tracker only. FairwayAway never holds, collects, escrows, transfers, or processes money between you and your buddies, and it is not a bank, payment service, gambling service, or financial adviser. Settling up happens entirely outside the app, between you and your crew. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for your own arrangements with your buddies.
Your data
Your trips live on your device first (in your browser's local storage). If you clear your browser data, uninstall, or switch devices without signing in, on-device data can be lost — export it from Account & sync any time. Optional sign-in syncs trips through our backend so your crew and your other devices can see them. See the Privacy page for details.
Passes & billing
Paid passes are sold through Stripe: the Trip Pass ($39, one-time, one trip), the Season Pass ($69–$229 per year depending on crew size, renews annually), and the AI Caddie add-on ($4.99 per month, renews monthly). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; cancel any time and access runs through the end of the paid period. A pass unlocks app features only — it never involves FairwayAway touching trip money. Prices may change for future purchases and renewals; we won't change what you pay mid-term.
Refunds
If something isn't right, email hello@fairwayaway.app and we'll sort out refund requests case by case — we aim to respond within a few business days.
AI Caddie
The AI Caddie is for ideas and trip logistics — packing lists, rain pivots, group-text drafts, lie basics. It's informational only, it can be wrong, and it is not professional advice of any kind: not golf instruction, medical, legal, financial, or tax advice, and not a booking agent. Daily usage caps apply. Use your own judgment (and a real caddie) on the course.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it, and no using the AI Caddie outside its golf-trip scope. We may suspend access that violates these terms.
No warranty, limited liability
FairwayAway is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apps 4 That LLC's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're a trip tracker, not an insurer of your golf trip.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use FairwayAway after a change means you accept the updated terms.
